O Lord Narasimha, I am helpless—please grant me Your protection, Lost in the dark well of worldly life, bound by material attraction.
The modes of passion and ignorance veil Your love and compassion, Lust and restless desires pull me in the wrong direction.
I crave enjoyment, honor, and recognition, And this alone is the root of my miserable condition.
Bursting forth from the pillar was Your divine expression, You appeared for Your devotee Prahlad—revealing Your deep affection.
Half-man, half-lion, fearless in Your manifestation, Your form destroys all doubt and hesitation.
Prahlad and I also share a subtle connection, Yet within my heart lies a demonic reflection.
This is my truth, my humble confession— My heart is like stone; please come at my invitation.
Tear open my heart, as You did Hiranyakashipu, for my purification, And cleanse it with Your divine intervention.
The garland of love offered by Prahlad for Your divine wrath pacification, His devotion, like a gentle breeze, still Your agitation.
Your loving affection (licking Prahlad out of love) was beyond all my imagination, Fills my soul with wonder and deep realization.
Your greatness and sweetness bring bliss and satisfaction, You are the fearless protector, yet full of tender loving reciprocation.
Please shower a drop of mercy from Your vast ocean of compassion, A tiny soul is crying, seeking surrender and devotion.
O Lord Narasimha, I am helpless—please grant me Your protection. 🙏
